Online Courses
Online courses are created to allow you as a parent/caregiver, to gain further knowledge into specific areas commonly addressed by Pediatric Occupational Therapy. Gather more knowledge on why certain strategies are recommended making your application of them more effective.
Motor Coordination
-Learn about Gross and Fine Motor Developmental Milestones, some warning signs of potential poorly developed movement patterns, activities and games to promote Gross, Bilateral, and Fine motor coordination.
-In the “Motor Coordination” courses, there are 2 modules dedicated to Visual Motor Integration, where you will learn about the types of visual motor skills, their effect on visual and motor function as well as tools, strategies and activities to promote visual skills
Behavior Management Course
-Learn about Behavior Development, “decoding” the behaviors, how to create an effective behavior plan and reward system along with useful tools/resources and strategies to manage behaviors
Sensory Processing
-Learn about the types and symptoms of Sensory Processing Disorder to help identify the the sensory needs of your child. Then through learning aids and information you’ve gathered, learn how to create a “Sensory Diet Plan” catered to your child’s needs.
